Pelvic Floor Physical Therapy
Pelvic floor physical therapy is a specialized treatment that focuses on treating the muscles and ligaments that control the bowel, bladder, and pelvic organs. Revive Rehab sees male and female pelvic conditions. All Revive Rehab therapists are trained through continuing education courses and clinical mentorship in pelvic treatment following their doctoral degrees.
Orthopedic Physical Therapy
Ortho physical therapy uses a combination of exercise, manual techniques, stretching, and movement retraining to improve pain and dysfunction. It helps people recover from injury, surgery, chronic pain, and a broad scope of musculoskeletal conditions. At Revive Rehab, we use a wide variety of treatment techniques that are meant to fit each client’s individual needs.
Dry needling
Dry needling is a technique in which a physical therapist inserts thin, sterile needles into specific muscle trigger points to help reduce pain, relieve muscle tension, and improve movement. Dry needling can also be used to improve scar mobility. This service may be done as part of a treatment session or as a stand alone treatment. All Revive Rehab therapists hold dry needling certifications and will discuss this option if beneficial for your recovery.
