get back to doing what you love
Ortho physical therapy for the active adult
We often see active adults who are told to “just rest” or to stop doing an activity altogether due to pain. Our mission is to empower and educate individuals to get back to moving in ways that they love. Whether that’s running, biking, chasing after your kids, or heavy strength training, we want to help find the root cause and get you out of pain. We believe that movement is medicine.
At Revive Rehab, we have experienced therapists ready to tackle any injury or nagging problem that may come up. After a thorough evaluation consisting of strength and coordination testing, palpation, movement analysis, and mobility testing, we can get you started on a plan to change the way you move and feel. Find lasting relief and learn techniques to use to keep you at your best.
a gym for every athlete
Whether or not you think of yourself as an athlete, Revive Rehab is here to work with you during your fitness of choice.
physical therapy for runners
Our physical therapy for runners includes a running analysis using video software to determine your current joint angles, stride mechanics, and asymmetry. We use these results as part of a full evaluation to determine the best treatment. Our running rehabilitation program will help prepare you for an upcoming 5k or keep you moving well during long marathon training runs.
Weight training is a critical part of most recovery plans. Our gym space has a squat rack, barbell, kettlebells, and dumbbells. A detailed evaluation involving lifting mechanics, breathing mechanics, and a movement analysis of your lift will help guide our treatment. We take pride in building workouts and treatment plans that leave you sweating without needing to stop early due to pain. Our physical therapists have experience working with CrossFit and Hyrox athletes, powerlifters, and everyone in between.
physical therapy for weightlifters
A well-rounded fitness routine can be tough, especially with pain. Physical therapy for the active adult can look different for everyone. Maybe you’re feeling tightness during a gym routine or pain following a workout. We have the space and equipment needed to find the root cause of pain at the gym. Let one of our expert clinicians spend time 1 on 1 with you as we build a program to get back to the gym pain free.
physical therapy for gym goers
Our clinic is designed to provide easy access to fitness. As we age, the workouts we used to do seem harder or even impossible. Our physical therapists have years of experience finding the “sweet spot” of exercise and know how to easily make things easier or harder. Don’t let common issues like low back pain, sciatica, or hip pain stop you from getting the movement your body needs. Find out how orthopedic therapy can help!

What we treat
“I had severe pain that even prescription medicine could barely mask, in addition to numbness and tingling down my entire right leg. After just a few short weeks of meeting with her and implementing her physical therapy, I began to walk again and was able to get off the prescription pain meds!
…She has taken me from barely able to walk to enjoying my gym three times a week. The biggest blessing: her therapy has also given my family back their mom and wife.”

Yes! Sports rehab involves the same type of movement analysis as any orthopedic injury. Your treatment plan and progression will be much more sport-specific to get you back to the court or field.
-
It includes a conversation about your symptoms and when they began, a full-body movement assessment, hands-on treatment, and a personalized plan to help you return to activity.
-
No! In Missouri, you can begin physical therapy without a physician script for the first 30 days. This allows you to start treatment quickly instead of waiting weeks for another appointment.
-
Not all physical therapy is the same. One-on-one care and a movement-based approach can make a big difference in outcomes. We will create a personalized plan for you.
-
Of course! Post-surgical physical therapy is something we see quite often. Like all PT clinics, we will follow the healing times and protocols set by your doctor and progress your activity as your body and your surgeon allows.
-
Many people see meaningful improvement in 6–10 visits, though some conditions may require fewer or more. Your therapist will discuss a clear plan after your initial evaluation.

We have experience working with all kinds of people. Our job is to help you meet your goals.
We often see adults with lingering pain during movement at the gym or around the house or anyone with a previous injury. We see people of all ages with chronic or new onset pain and help create a plan to start feeling better.

We have many tools to help your tissue move and feel better. We may suggest dry needling, cupping therapy, or manual techniques to help. Usually this is done along with exercises and it’s always included in the cost of your visit.
